Agudas Achim is proud to partner with the Hadar Institute this Purim for a day of learning and prayer during Ta'anit Esther (Fast of Esther). In the wake of October 7th, the story of the Megillah feels very real as mourn unimaginably cruel acts of violence against Israelis, encounter increased antisemitism and fear in Jewish communities worldwide, and confront the sobering fact of so many Palestinians killed in recent months. Join us online on March 21 to discover what the story of Purim can teach us about understanding both of these realities.

Leket Israel: Israel's National Food Bank
This Purim, you can make a difference in the lives of thousands of Israelis in need by supporting Leket Israel, the national food bank of Israel.
Leket Israel annually rescues approximately 55 million pounds of food from hundreds of farms, hotels, corporate caterers and IDF bases across Israel that would otherwise go to waste. The food that they save is distributed weekly to over 250 non-profits that feed approximately 225,000 Israelis of all backgrounds.
For just $1 USD, you can provide 6 pounds of food for someone in need. Help spread the festive joy of Purim, prevent the needless destruction of food, and ensure that no one goes hungry this holiday season by making a donation to Leket today.
