Join us for an unforgettable evening of Israeli wine tasting at our synagogue! This unique event will blend the rich flavors of Israeli wines with an exploration of the geopolitics and history that shape the region’s vibrant wine industry.

Event Highlights:

Professional Sommelier: Learn about the diverse grapes, geography, and growing techniques that define Israeli wines.
Meet Brett: Brett is a Certified Sommelier through the National Wine School and also holds a certification in kosher wine through the Wine & Spirit Education Trust. He is the founder of Own Your Palate, which offers private and corporate wine tasting experiences. In addition to his wine tastings, Brett serves as a consultant for clients, curating their private wine collections. He also serves as a recurring judge for the Maryland Wine Association, helping to rank Maryland’s most current vintage.
Israeli Cultural Emissary: Discover the fascinating geopolitics surrounding Israeli wine production, including the effects of war and the resilience of its vineyards.
Wine Tasting: Sample a curated selection of fine Israeli wines from various growing regions.
Cheese Pairing: Enjoy an assortment of cheeses designed to complement the wines (not a full meal).
