It's time for the annual Agudas Achim BBQ, on Sunday, August 29, from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm! The event, hosted by the Men's Club "Grillmasters" and the Membership Committee, will feature kosher hamburgers, hot dogs, vegetarian fare, baked beans, fresh salads, watermelon, and cold beverages. We'll also have a moonbounce for the kids, and live performances from our in-house band, Ein Lanu Z'Man. Best of all, it's completely free! New and Prospective Members - We'll also be hosting a reception just before the BBQ, from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm, for new and prospective members to mingle with board members, professional staff, and other congregants. If you are new to the congregation, please join us at the reception. If you know someone who might be interested in joining us, please bring them with you. And either way, everyone is welcome to stay for the BBQ.
At the BBQ, the Synagogue plans to launch The Green Committee and current members of our Green Committee would like to meet you and get your ideas for upcoming conservation programs at the synagogue. Please stop by their display for more information.
